About

I have experience working with families and individuals, and I believe that everyone deserves to have their story heard.

I really love my work which aims to help people feel empowered and happier in their lives. I believe courage plays a huge part in this journey, and I believe we all have the potential to overcome any of your concerns, together, in a safe space.

My Approach

Life can feel overwhelming, we sometimes can't make sense of things and seem to be going round in circles, with the same issues coming up over and over. We feel stressed and burnt out, maybe not feeling anything at all. Life can feel as though it is flashing us by, with little or no joy, we sense we are simply surviving.

Together we can explore, at a pace that feels right for you, any distressing situations, negative thoughts, relationship issues, grief or bereavement ( including pets), mental health issues from the past, and explore what is needed to help you move forward and find true potential.

I love the work I do, working with people to make real, lasting changes in their lives. I’ve had counselling on several occasions and have always found it useful to unravel my thoughts, it feels like I am resetting or refreshing myself. I receive regular supervision as part of my counselling practice which provides really useful support for my work.

I provide a safe and comfortable space for us to work together so that you feel confident in sharing your innermost thoughts and feelings. I understand the depth of courage this may take, and I walk alongside you every step of the way. Working like this might help you to see your situation from a different perspective and gain valuable insights leading to a positive difference in your outlook, enabling you to reduce any feelings of anxiety or unhappiness, making lasting changes.

Nature has played a healing role in my life and inspires me each day. So I also incorporate “Walk and Talk” sessions, which you may feel are less overwhelming. Please don't hesitate if you feel this is something that may help you along the way.

In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful. –Alice Walker
